The Hitman PS4 beta launched over Valentine Day’s weekend, allowing some lucky gamers the opportunity to get an idea of the gameplay that will be featured in the new title, due for release March 11. The sixth entry in the highly popular stealth game series features our favorite protagonist, Agent 47, and serves as a prequel to the prior games (with the exemption of the events being after the gameplay of Absolution). A wonderful site called WiiWareWave had a contest on twitter to win a Wii U indie game called Discovery. Discovery is yet another brick creation game in the vain of Minecraft. I had already played two other block creation games (Cube Life for Wii U and The Magic Hammer for 3DS) and thought they were just ok. And yet, I keep wanting to like this genre. I love creating things. So, I entered the contest to win Discovery and, of course, I won. After a couple of days with the game, I decided it was time to talk about it. Is Discovery any good?

“This is not a fairy tale. There’s nothing fair about it”. When the protagonist of Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries introduces us to her world, this is the key statement she makes. A warning and an explanation: she is telling the player that this is no ordinary happy-ending bedtime story. In early-access on Steam, Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries tells the classic story of Little Red Riding Hood with a dark and gritty twist that takes the old story to a whole new level.

A hopeful young boy of the Makoa Tribe must travel down and successfully navigate three personal paths to become a man among his peers. These respective paths are Spirit (being in tune with ones soul in order to communicate with the spirit world), Wisdom (using logic and puzzle solving skills), and Courage (using bravery and teamwork to overcome speed challenges).

The world of the Heretic Kingdoms is in hideous disarray, with the citizens turning on their leaders and each other. With no true ruler there is utter anarchy, and dark enemies are starting to re-emerge from the shadows. The opening of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms sees a powerful and intimidating demon named the Devourer brought forward to take control of the world before it spirals out of control.

When first logging into BlockStorm, you might think that it's going to be a Minecraft mimic, with very subtle differences, but in fact it has more in common with Call of Duty than Minecraft.

For fans of the Transformers series, you will not be disappointed with the June 24th release of “Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark”. Rise of the Dark Spark is a follow up to the widely successful live action films and from other Activision titles Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. According to Information from Activision, Dark Sparks’ story takes players on the hunt for an ancient relic as powerful as the Matrix of Leadership, the Eponymous Dark Spark.

Nether is a post-apocalyptic open world multiplayer game with an emphasis on survival. The style can be compared to Day Z, but instead of a zombie apocalypse, the world was hit with solar flares that mutated a portion of the population into Nethers. Other players in the world can help or hurt you, however there are safezones throughout the map in which Nethers can’t enter and people can’t hurt you.

More than likely, most gamers have played some Warcraft game at some point, whether it be Warcraft 1, 2, 3, or World of Warcraft. Blizzard has just given fans another game to satisfy their desire for more Warcraft: a free to play card game called Hearthstone.
