I'm not sure October could have become any better for CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the award winning Witcher franchise and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game. Not only did they launch the first of two large expansion packs this month - which was very good by the way, more below - but they also took home five awards in the Golden Joysticks 2016!

With millions of players worldwide, Minecraft is undoubtedly one of the most popular and successful games of the last decade. The simple sandbox experience it offers has enthralled players since it's release in 2009, and the ongoing updates (including the cross platform play in the most recent version) means it's set to continue to offer new experiences to players.

If you've played the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt then you know how great of a game it is. We scored it incredibly high on Games Reviews, and have been looking forward to the DLC for a long while. CD Projekt Red has produced one of the best DLC launches every by a developer, with tons of free content already being made available. So when CD Projekt Red promises 10 more hours of content for 9.99, I'm completely OK with making that purchase.

The Witcher 3 is recieving a very large 15 GB update just ahead of the launch of their first main DLC pack. We have grabbed the list of changes which you can see below.

Today, Disney Interactive revealed details for Marvel Battlegrounds, the upcoming Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, featuring a new four-player, arcade brawler style of gameplay, and an original Marvel storyline. Developed by United Front Games, in partnership with Avalanche Software, Marvel Battlegrounds is the first Disney Infinity Play Set to feature four-player gameplay. With full compatibility for all Disney Infinity Marvel characters, Marvel Battlegrounds features the widest selection of playable characters of any previous Play Set.

A few months ago we posted our review for the Elder Scrolls Online for Xbox One. We really, really liked it! Even with the various issues that were present at the time, Bethesda still delivered an excellent, Skyrim like experience on Xbox One. And as an Elder Scrolls fan, that was all I could ask for. A Crowd of Monsters wouldn't be my first thought when talking about a potential Game of the Year nomination. It isn't because they are not qualified or that they aren't talented enough. It is just that they don't have the resume of most GOTY candidates. If you are not familiar, Blood Bowl is actually a Warhammer Table Top game that is enjoyed by a fairly niche group of individuals. With its launch on console, I think a wider audience will be found. Whether these people will stay to play, however, is the real question. Despite a lackluster tutorial system which inevitably requires players to learn-as-they-play, there is a lot to love in Blood Bowl 2. Don't be confused, however, Madden fans. If you are dedicated sports game fan, this probably is not the game for you.

Outside of Assassins Creed, Ubisoft has made a name for themselves via the Rainbow Six franchise. The game has always been a lot of fun, focusing on team game play. Rainbow Six Siege is no different. Armed with a number of tools, players are let loose to fight each other in 5v5 multiplayer matches, and from what I have played, it is really, REALLY fun.
