The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Episode 3

When I reviewed Episode 1 and 2 of A New Frontier, I was somewhat critical of how quickly Javi was presented to the players. As a new character, I had hoped this back story – mainly the issues with his family – would be explained better to give us a better understanding of his character. Now I see why they didn’t. Episode 3 picks up right where episode 2 ended, and this time around, we are getting a few “Oh…

More Thoughts From Me #65: “Gordon? Gordon Freeman?!”

After all these years, people are still wondering if Gordon Freemen will ever return. First introduced in Half-Life, Gordon was sent into an underground complex with nothing but a crowbar and his wits. Then came Half-Life 2, where Gordon had to survive City 17 with a crowbar and his wits. Oh sure you could get other weapons in both games, but come on, the crowbar was your most important tool. Short episodes, 1 and 2, were released to expand on…

Creative Sound BlasterX Vanguard K08 Keyboard Review

If you've been following our site for the last year or so, you will have seen numerous Creative product reviews. These reviews have exclusively been audio related, whether it was the small 2.1 surround T4 system for your computer or TV, the Under Monitor Audio System, Katana, or the impressive line of water proof speakers Creative has launched. Everything to date has been about audio. We flip the script on that today with our first non-audio review for Creative. We are looking at the Creative Sound BlasterX Vanguard K08 Keyboard. Why “Officially Licensed” Matters

Right around the time of the Nintendo Switch launch, you will remember the reedit post from dBrand claiming that ALL skins put on a Nintendo Switch product would ruin the Switch itself. Through some testing of our own - as well as some very informative videos from Performance Design Product - it was shown that this wasn't the case all the time. PDP prides themselves on producing officially licenced products from gamers around the world, and if this scenario taught me anything, it was that "Officially Licenced" really does matter.

LEGO City Undercover Rerelease Is Too Fun to Pass On

When we first looked at LEGO City Undercover in 2013, we called it one of LEGO's best games ever, especially since, unlike other LEGO franchises - it didn't actually have any source material. It couldn't bank on the Harry Potter or Star Wars names; it had to stand on it's own, really only using the LEGO City licence to attract potential players. With a limited release - on the now proven failed Wii U experiment by Nintendo - LEGO City Undercover was a game that not a lot of people got to play, which is incredibly unfortunate. The game, while spectacular at ...

Lego City Undercover Is Now Available For Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC

Lego City Undercover, a former Wii U exclusive game, is now available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In other words, you’ll be able to join Chase’s mission to track down Rex Fury no matter what system (or PC) you own! I was a huge fan of Lego City Undercover on the Wii U. Not only does the game have a huge city for players to explore, but there’s tons of costumes, vehicles, and more to…
