GameSpy was once the centre of online gaming, boasting server support for over 400 games, but it has more recently dropped into disuse, with its name popping up less and less. That's partly ebcause developers see more value in services like Steamworks, which are integrated right into where people are buying and collecting their games anyway.

Rockstar have announced that a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V will be released this Thursday. Aside from calling it the "official" trailer, little else is said about it This will be the eighth trailer to be released for Grand Theft Auto V, and will likely be one of the last before the game is launched. Expect this to be a mash-up of everything we've seen so far, a nice mix of single player gameplay, story and online features. Anuman Interactive have today announced Garfield Kart, an arcade racer based on the famous comic book series. With eight racers to choose from and sixteen tracks to master, Garfield Kart will have you exploring alternative routes and talking no end of lasagne when it releases in October of this year.
