According to an email from Microsoft, the Zune Marketplace will no longer be available on the Xbox 360 on November 22nd. Remember Myst, the PC game developed by Cyan? It was one of the first games that put CD-ROM gaming on the map. It became a household name when it launched in 1993, and spawned numerous sequels. It was an incredibly difficult adventure game that many feel is still one of the best in the genre, and a game that some developers cite as being a critical influence to their work. It's probably for these reasons that Cyan's new title called Obduction successfully met its 1.1 million dollar Kickstarter goal. In fact, it made 1.3 million.

The popular digital indie game service Humble Bundle has launched an online storefront dubbed The Humble Store. The new service offers daily discounts on video games for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS. There have been plenty of announcements at this year's BlizzCon, including the reveal that the Playstation 4 Diablo III release will include the Reaper of Souls expansion. Reaper of Souls will be packed with new features, including more randomization. Game director Josh Mosqueira understands that the original Diablo III campaign didn't sit right with many, primarily since none of the areas truly felt different when revisiting them. Voxler Games have this morning announced what they claim to be the world's first PC karaoke game. Let's Sing will certainly be the most advanced though, containing the video for each of the 40 songs included in the purchase.

It's no surprise to anybody with a brain, but Call of Duty: Ghosts appears to have done very well. They've shipped a billion dollars worth of units (some 17 million), some of which will presumably have been snapped up by consumers. That's the problem - we just don't know.
