Left for dead 2 new extended mutation system

Today, the Left 4 Dead 2 beta program has introduced the ‘Extended Mutation System’ which will allow modders to author and test out expanded tools before they’re rolled out onto the live servers. First Footage of Wasteland 2

When inXile Entertainment put up a drive for a Wasteland 2 on Kickstarter, no one could have foreseen the studio reaching its goal in just two days. By the time the pledging period ended, inXile had $3,040,574 in its hand. The original goal being a relatively low $900,000, all the extra money meant inXile could add in even more features. Once inXile hit $2.1 million, it meant that the studio could afford to have Obsidian Entertainment help out. Once the $3 million was reached, inXile would be able to include mod tools.

World of Warcraft Subscriber Numbers Continue To Plummet

Blizzard Activision released the investor’s report for the fourth quarter of 2012 today and according to the report, things aren’t looking so hot for World of Warcraft’s subscriber numbers. According to the report, total subscriber numbers for World of Warcraft had sunk to 9.6 million by the end of December, 2012. TERA Free to Play

The list of games with “craft” at the end of their title has just grown a little longer thanks to the release of Firebase Industries’ Arcadecraft in the Indie Games section of Xbox Live Arcade. In Arcadecraft, players assume the role of a struggling entrepreneur who must dig their way out of debt by starting and managing their own arcade. In addition to getting to name the arcade and customize its floor pattern, wall color, and decorations, players will also be able to purchase various arcade games from a total list of roughly 80 different machines.

Guild Wars 2 – new changes released

Changes were announced for ArenaNet’s popular Buy-to-Play MMO Guild Wars 2. A new dev blog posted by the game’s lead designer Isaiah Cartwright outlines some of the new changes coming to the game’s dynamic leveling system. For those who may not be familiar with Guild Wars 2’s nuances, the dynamic leveling system basically allows higher-level players to advance their characters by playing through lower-level content by “scaling down” their stats and attributes.
