EA, Microsoft, and Bethesda have all had media conferences now. Today, at noon, was Square Enix’s turn. I watched the event and…well…it could have been better. A lot better. Square Enix did not hold a press conference today. Instead, they had a video. It was basically like a Nintendo Direct. A poor man’s Nintendo Direct… Game after game was shown by Square Enix with very little extra talking. Unfortunately, there were very little surprises too. We knew about most of…

Fallout Shelter Nintendo Switch Impressions
Last night, Bethesda had their E3 press conference. They made many announcements, but my favorite was Fallout Shelter for the Nintendo Switch. I knew what the game was, vaguely, and thought it might be interesting. The fact that the game was free and that it came out last night excited me even more. I downloaded the game and I've had the chance to play it some. Here are my first impressions of Fallout Shelter for Nintendo Switch.

When watching gameplay of Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, I was having a very difficult time getting excited. I'm a big fan of puzzle games, but on my mobile phone instead of consoles. It was for this reason that I actually chose to skip out on the demo of Sushi Striker and focus on other games and articles that need to be written. When the opportunity came up to take the retail version for a spin, I decided to leave my preconceived notions at the door, and enter the experience with an open mind. I'm so glad I did, as Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido is ...

I've just finally finished getting through Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch, and although it has been the third time I've played it - first on the Nintendo WiiU and later on the Nintendo 3DS - I once again had a really great time. With each subsequent release of the game, more DLC from previous iterations have been added, giving this last release the appropriate title of "definitive edition." This third time through, however, I quickly realized I wasn't necessarily thinking about he game itself, but rather how Nintendo should be doing ...

I love simulation games. Animal Crossing is my all-time favorite game. I’m also a huge fan of Sim City and I even like The Sims. Well, kind of. But the simulation genre really appeals to me. So I had a feeling that I would like Happy Birthdays. But how much do I like it? And does this game appeal to non-simulation genre fans?
