More Thoughts From Me #233: The Moon Is Cursed Again

I’m back! At least for now. And I want to finally talk about Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 2. I haven’t been playing it much lately but I really love this game. Let’s talk about Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 for the Nintendo Switch! I miss Castlevania. I wouldn’t say Castlevania is one of my top ten favorite games of all time, theres a lot of games I love, but it is somewhere on the list of games I…

Crysis Remastered (Switch) Review

While there are all sorts of nifty benchmarking tools out there for PCs, it feels like for years that the common refrain when testing a new PC build was to see how it ran Crysis.  It’s a game that, at its best, is one to show off to your friends.  With gorgeous landscapes and  superhuman abilities for the player, it’s a game that’s supposed to look good.  It’s an old game though. It originally came out the same year as…

LEGO Super Mario Starter Kit Review

When Nintendo and LEGO partnered up to release some building sets, I was incredibly excited. I had visions of beautifully crafted sets that utilized amazing mini figures. Then the sets were revealed and demoed and my excitement went from a 10, down to a 4. Now that I've played with the starter kit, have my initial thoughts changed? Let's take a look!

Rogue Company – Impressions

Like a bunch of other Hi-Rez studios games, Rogue Company is an online hero shooter, kind of. But not quite in the way of other games like Overwatch where it’s a mad dash to unleash your ULT on the competition, this game is much more strategic. Where Rogue Company stands out is in it’s unique formula of a…

Skater XL

Skater XL Review

Fingerboarding, along with having really, really good Pokemon, was one of the main ways of proving you were cool when I was in school. I remember it well – wearing a leather jacket and awesome sunglasses, armed with a stick used to beat off the girls, I’d flick my way through the schoolyard with my tiny skateboard. It wasn’t the size though, dear reader, it was what you did with it, and that sums up my experience with Skater XL…

Genki Covert Dock

When the Genki Covert Dock popped up on Kickstarter last year, I was definitely intrigued. How could something so small, do so much? I'll admit right here, that using third party docks definietly worried me as so many others had failed and bricked systems. Thankfully, by all accounts, this dock from Genki won't cause those problems, and I cannot wait to try it out!

Animal Crossing New Horizons Dream Mansion Impressions

In Animal Crossing New Leaf, there was a place called the Dream Mansion (aka Dream Suite) where players could go to visit other  towns via the internet. The catch was that it was in a “dream” and so anything you did in the other player’s town didn’t count. Also the other player wasn’t really there. You were just getting to check out a copy of their town. The Dream Mansion was added to New Horizons in the latest update. Well,…
