New EarthBound Game Incoming?

Take this one with a pinch of salt, but a number of developments around EarthBound might indicate that something big is on the way. Why take it with a pinch of salt? Because there's nothing definitive here. There's nothing that out and out says "expect Mother 3 to be localized very soon," but at the same time, there certainly does seem to be something happening on the EarthBound side of things.

Shin Megami Tensei IV Review

With a library that contains JRPGs like Etrian Odyssey, Fire Emblem, Soul Hackers and Kingdom Hearts, it's no surprise that Shin Megami Tensei IV found its way to the Nintendo 3DS. It's becoming the go-to system for JRPG fanatics – which is a blessing considering how few are released for home consoles – and SMTIV is a welcome addition.

Mario and Luigi Dream Team Review

If you haven’t played any of the Mario & Luigi series, I strongly urge you to do so, as they are some of the most thought out, inspired and creative titles Nintendo has ever developed. From exploring the Beanbean Kingdom in Superstar Saga to Mario & Luigi trying to communicate with baby versions of themselves in Partners in Time, the series stays true to its tried and tested gameplay, with the addition of a few new features in Dream Team.

Sonic: Lost World has Colors-like Powers

SEGA, in a new trailer unveiled yesterday, have announced that Sonic: Lost World for the Wii U and 3DS will have shape-shifting power-ups, not entirely unlike Sonic Colors for the Wii. These new powers allow him to transform into a bird, into a musical note, and into the drill that first made its appearance in Colors. New Releases this week | July 1st – July 7th 2013

This week's new releases are severely lacking especially for the 2 main consoles, but Limbo comes to iOS on Wednesday so that kind of makes up for the big release short comings. The popular indie game is accompanied by some minor, small releases but hey, it's July.

Being Black in Animal Crossing is Hard Work

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is largely a game about leaving an impression. Whether you're creating your town in the sometimes dull single player or if you're visiting friends to see how they've built up their world, you can do so with a personality and charm that you yourself have created. In many ways, you can be whatever you want to be in New Leaf, unless you want to be black. Then your only option is to tan, tan, tan.

Animal Crossing New Leaf Review

Ever since its first global release for the Nintendo Gamecube a decade ago, Animal Crossing has amassed a very large and devoted fanbase. Its Sims-meets-Harvest Moon real-time gameplay is notable for its charm, depth and accessibility. This fact alone easily makes Animal Crossing one of Nintendo's most popular franchises. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is the latest iteration of the series, this time finding its home on the 3DS. For many, this was a highly anticipated game, especially after it was revealed that the Japanese release last September was an instant ...
