The Battle Cats POP! Review

The Battle Cats POP! for 3DS is unlike any game you’ve ever seen! It has a unique sense of humor, style of graphics, and gameplay. I’m pretty sure it’s the strangest game I’ve ever played too. Does any of this make The Battle Cats POP a good game? Buckle up because here’s my review for The Battle Cats POP!

Kirby Planet Robobot

There is something charming about Kirby games. Despite all the destruction the little pink ball can do, he's so dang cute, even when he is decked out in robotic gear! However, with Kirby Triple Deluxe just a year and a bit old, how much does Planet Robobot add to what we already have on the 3DS

Dragon Fantasy The Black Tome of Ice Review

Sequels are sometimes better than the first game, but more often than not, sequels are worse. Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice is the second Dragon Fantasy game for the 3DS (its also available on Wii U but I didn't review the Wii U version), with a third one already planned. Is The Black Tome of Ice better than the first game, as good as the first game, or did the developers drop the ball?

Epic Word Search Collection 2 Review

Lightwood Games is one of my favorite developers. Word search games are probably a niche category of gaming, but I enjoy them a lot. Not every game Lightwood has done has been perfect, but they have a high quality to their games overall. Their newest game, Epic Word Search Collection 2, came out recently for the 3DS.

Disney Art Academy brings back all the old things from previous entries but adds a Disney touch of magic. While longtime fans of the series might not find anything ground breaking or new in the presentation, having the ...

Return to PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale Review 3D

If you remember, last year when Story of Seasons launched on the 3DS, we coverd it ... a lot! I was doing weekly diary entries about where I was at in the game. I was hoping to do something similar this time around, but unfortunately this title doesn't really allow for that type of article writing. However, we have published a lot of preview coverage which I will link below. However, it's now time to put a score on this wonderful title. For more context, however, we urge you to read our other posts!

Hyrule Warriors Legends Review

Outside of a few consistent releases - I'm thinking primarily of the Mario and Sonic titles - many Nintendo games don't find a home on both Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. However, the Hyrule Warriors title - a spin off of the Dragon Warriors series - has landed on both. While the 3DS does have more content than the Wii U version, is it necessarily worth purchasing on handheld, or for a second time? We think so!
