Tales of ARISE will arrive September 10, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via STEAM. Tales of ARISE marks the latest entry in the Tales of brand, which has spanned over 25 years, and the next evolution for the JRPG franchise. Players who purchase Tales of ARISE for PlayStation 4 will be eligible for a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version*. Tales of ARISE for Xbox players will come in a Cross-Generational Double Pack. More details about the upgrade process will be available soon.

If you've been paying attention to the website, my twitter account, or even my YouTube channel, you know I've been playing a lot of farming simulation titles like Story of Seasons, Harvest Moon, and Stardew Valley! Now I can actually play these games and do some good on April 22nd, on Earth Day.

Barcelona, Spain - Tuesday 20th April 2021 - Having kick-started its movement to both refresh and honour the survival-horror genre with Song of Horror on PC, Raiser Games and Protocol Games are utterly spooked to announce that the game will come to both PlayStation and Xbox consoles as one single release on 28th May 2021.

About a week ago, I was looking through Twitter as I do each morning and stumbled across a post from a friend detailing a brand new Kickstarter campaign for the Unofficial amiibo handbook. With New Pokémon Snap on the verge of being released later this month, I went back to the Nintendo 64 version to see if it was as good as I remember. While I enjoyed it for about an hour, while nostalgia dripped all over me, I quickly realized it was a somewhat shallow experience that really doesn't hold up well so many years later. This begged the question: why was the original Pokémon Snap so successful? I think I might have the answer, or at least a rational.

It seems that anytime a video game launches in 2021, we are all eager to blow through it as fast as possible. Hell, folks are taking days of work to play their favourite video games for hours on end, to drink up every moment of the story, find every collectible, and more. Unless you plan on fast traveling, Cozy Grove has taken on the Animal Crossing  philosophy that 30 minutes to an hour of gameplay is all that is really necessary per day, keeping you invested in the game for longer periods of time without burning you out within the first week. Today, Nintendo showcased a number of new Indie developed titles that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. While not everything on offer was for my liking, I was more intrigued during this showcase than I have been watching others! You can watch my entire reaction to the showcase below!

Within the last few years, we have been blessed by a number of fantastic farming / city building simulation styles. There has been no shortage with the likes of Stardew Valley updates, Story of Seasons, Summer in Mara, Harvest Moon, Littlewood...the list just goes on. Deiland: Pocket Planet - previously released on other platforms - is now trying to break through on the Nintendo Switch with new features and gameplay mechanics. Deiland does things just a bit differently, however, which sets itself apart form the competition. Let's dive in!

About once a year, I begin looking around the Internet for ways to get Sim Golf running on my computer - any of my computers. Sim Golf was one of my favourite simulation titles when I was younger, and I spent hours creating courses, competing in tournaments, and earning cash. With the ability to play that game dwindling, I've been either hoping for a re-release of that title, or something that mimics it, but alas, nothing has been released. Until GolfTopia.

We've been playing around with Dragon Quest 11s on Google Stadia for the last week or so, and are pleasantly surprised with how well this epic fantasy RPG runs on the platform. No updates, quick load times, and no downloads makes the Google Stadia version the premiere version of this title, in our opinion.
