This morning, Marvelous and XSeed officially launched the latest DLC expansion for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town on Nintendo Switch in English speaking regions. The new DLC allows players to explore Terracotta Oasis, which is comprised of a small town square with a fountain and a few stalls, a large pond for fishing, and a few houses for the brand new residents from Story of Seasons on the Nintendo 3DS.

I'm not usually one to recommend wired controllers, mostly because the quality difference and the wireless v. wired advantage, it's hard to ever recommend a cheaper, wired controller over an official, 64.99 Xbox controller. That really changes with the FUSION Wired Pro Controller from PowerA, and excellent, pro controller with all the bells and whistles of Xbox's official wireless pro controller, but at 1/2 the price. Prior to E3 2021, I gave three bold predictions about what titles we might see coming to the Nintendo Switch. If you had the chance to read the article, I predicted we would get a brand new Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle title, a brand new Pokémon Let's Go experience, and one or two GameCube / Wii / Wii U remakes on the Nintendo Switch. Going one for three isn't bad, but let's revisit my predictions and think about how stupid they really are!

With the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has been promoting and updating their games with both paid and free DLC more often than not. Mario Tennis Aces, the other Mario Sports title to release on the platform, received a ton of paid DLC content. And Mario Tennis has enjoyed a long life on the Nintendo Switch, with tons of folks still playing it today. So can Nintendo keep that up with Mario Golf: Super Rush?
