Right before the pandemic hit, Escape Rooms were all the rage in North America. Whether an official escape room by a professional company, or a home made experience, folks love to work together to piece together clues to escape their surroundings. Many companies have taken this concept and adapted it for board games, but as far as we know, only one will allow you to play a game, and pass it along to a friend afterwards. Today, our first Halloween With Asmodee article will be focusing on Unlocked! Escape Adventure.

With crafting systems seemingly a part of almost every game out there nowadays, it may be difficult to imagine how any title could implement a crafting system that doesn't feel forced, tired and overused. Luckily for us all, nothing could be further from the truth. The Far Cry 6 Resolver crafting system provides us with exactly that - a breath of fresh air into a stale mechanic that has become more of a pre-requisite than an asset.

We picked a good time to jump into Assassin's Creed Stadia, with the pending launch of a 60fps mode and the ability for players to toggle between performance and graphics like they can on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. But even before this update lands, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is really a statement about what Google Stadia can offer players, even those not on outstanding Internet connections like myself.

Who doesn't love an arcade racing title? I've been enjoying Hot Wheels as toys and in games for a long time now. When they released the Hot Wheels pack for Forza Horizon a few years back, I played the heck out of that and enjoyed ever single minute. Passing on my love of Hot Wheels to my kids has also been huge for me, reliving the joys of playing with those toys. Now with the release of Hot Wheels Unleashed, I can relive this awesome franchise yet again. 

Far cry is known for interesting landscapes, great gunplay, and tons of action, but what makes the series stand out is its amazing cast of villains. They truly are the standouts in the series even shadowing the heroes. While some are more memorable than others for sure, they are all deserving of their role, so let us break down the badest of the bad.

Far Cry 6 takes a somewhat different approach, and provides more varied experiences, from the thick jungles to the big cities, there is something for everyone in Yara!

Far Cry 6 has been one of my favourite games this year - I've enjoyed the story, how it unfolds, and the cool people you meet along the way. These are all staples of the Far Cry franchise, and most open world Ubisoft franchises for that matter. But the more I play Far Cry 6, the more I became concerned. "I'm not clearing the map! WHY AM I NOT CLEARING THE MAP!"

Is 2021, and Far Cry 6 is helping us do what we already do in real life all the time - play on our phones, a lot. In previous Far Cry games, we often would use a set of binoculars to scout out enemy bases, tagging enemies, and more. That made a ton of sense, and was enjoyable enough of an experience. While I'm happy that the new tagging system highlights the weaknesses of enemies, I'm having a bit of difficulty extending my belief to tagging using a camera on a cell phone.

There is little question that Far Cry 6 is the biggest title out right now. With big names like Giancarlo Esposito attached to it and the franchise's stellar reputation, all eyes have been on the latest installment to see how it evolves the series. At a time where there are still next-gen console shortages in many areas due to global circumstances, we thought it might be relevant to discuss what it feels like to hop into Far Cry 6 on previous gen consoles, as many gamers may be forced to do while the supply chain replenishes.
