Collecting Playmobil is a Thing – Volkswagen Limited Edition Sets

I have had a ton of people tell me that collecting and displaying Playmobil sets isn't a thing, as it doesn't have the same display quality of other building toys. That is until my friends at Playmobil sent over two collectible Volkswagen sets - the Special Edition Volkswagen Beetle and the Special Edition Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus. Both sets are phenomenal pieces, and while kids might enjoy playing them, they are in my opinion a great, collectible piece.

Thomas and Friends is Rising Up This Holiday Season

While wooden trains have been all the rage for young kids over the past few decades, there is one downside to them - they generally cannot be self-propelled and it's hard to build them really high in a small space. And so enters the Thomas & Friends Trains and Cranes Super Tower, a self propelled train that climbs up and down a tower, with lots of play options for younger kids!

Everyone loves Hot Wheels. How can you not? Not only are they excellently made, but building tracks and buying accessories and playsets for your tracks has been something boys and girls have been doing for well over a decade. Old Games, New Twists – Marvel Splendor and Star Wars Unlocked!

If you've ever travelled down to my basement you'll see shelves and shelves of board and card games. At this present, we are not quite sure how many games we own, but that number is easily above 150. Splendor, a fantastic title that we really enjoyed for months on end, is one of those games collecting dust, but a brand new crossover is happening which is bringing it back to our ...

Playmobil 1.2.3 Aqua the Perfect Gift for those Young Kids

Playmobil has always been a popular toy in the Roffel household, and my kids have gone through phases. There was the city phase, where they couldn't get enough of firefighters, doctors, construction workers and more. Then they moved onto the pirate phase, and I was constantly tiptoeing around pirate swords and treasure chests littered across my basement floor. With all of these toys, however, there has been on disconnect - my three year old. While the figures themselves are easy enough to play with, he cannot enjoy the finer pieces included in these sets ...

Roomba Gets Holiday Updates

Earlier this fall, we took at look at the iRobot Roomba j7+, and despite a few small quirks, really liked the way the robot easily made itself a part of our daily habits around the house. And it's still going strong just a few weeks later, and shocker - we have little to complain about.
