7 Wonders Duel Review

7 Wonders is one of my favourite board games, but with so many games to play and only one scheduled board game night per week, it's not one we get to the table often. Every Thursday a group of friends sits down to play one of the best new board games available on the market, and often times, it's not something old. During the rest of the week, it is just my wife and I, and two player games are the cats meow! Enter 7 Wonders Duel, a perfect game that closely represents that feeling of the main game, but is designed specifically for two players! Let's hop in!

Quest for Infamy a Throwback to the Good Sierra Days

It's not often that I've played a Point-And-Click adventure game that really got me excited, but that was how I felt this weekend while playing Quest for Infamy on the Nintendo Switch. Hundred Days on Switch is a Different Kind of Experience

I've been playing Hundred Days on Nintendo Switch for a little while now, and while I've heard mixed experiences on the gameplay, I found it a fairly relaxing experience that was great to play for a few minutes before setting down. Still, at 29.99 USD, I've begun to wonder if this isn't one you might want to grab when it is on sale.

Elden Ring feat

Social Media (in general) as a 2022 Influencer

Influencers are great - in fact, I've worked to build a brand outside of GamesReviews.com to attempt and achieve that to some extent. But I'm finding more and more that one single person isn't generally convincing me of making a purchase. Instead, I'm finding the growing communities on Twitter - as toxic as it can be - as a driving force behind whether or not I play games. And Elden Ring is a great example of this.

Story over Gameplay – Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Impressions

Assassin's Creed II and it's subsequent games Brotherhood and Revelations are widely considered some of the best in the series, and for my own personal rankings I would say that is pretty accurate, easily falling into my top 5 Assassin's Creed titles and spinoffs. But the more I played through Assassin's Creed II, the more I realized we play this for the story, not the gameplay. It's also a very good example of how far we have come in video game development. Let's dive in.
