Free DLC for Mario Kart is good for Fans

Nintendo may have finally delivered on their promise to licence out their favorite franchise characters. Yesterday, big news came out of Japan that Free DLC was coming to Mario Kart (currently Japan only) which includes a Mercedes themed kart. “Evergreen” PlayStation Plus Titles Disappear in Coming Weeks

A key part of Sony's Instant Game Collection has been the "evergreen" titles that you can download at any time. These have traditionally lasted a year and are due for a change in the coming weeks. Today, Fred Dutton has confirmed that these PlayStation Plus staples will be disappearing for good when they go, and that they won't be replaced. Instead fans will have access to one more PlayStation 4 game per month.

NFC Figures and Smash Bros not a Guarantee

I wrote a previous article on GamesReviews about Nintendo diving into collectible, playable toys market. A day after the article was posted, it was announced that these toys would be usable across a variety of Nintendo games and not be tied to one specific game franchise like the toys used in Disney Infinity or Skylanders. One such rumor was that the NFC figures, scanned using the NFC reader on the Wii U gamepad, would be used in Super Smash Bros.

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Coming to PlayStation

It was always pretty obvious that Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare would end up on PlayStation devices. I'm not sure Popcap or EA ever denied it either. The franchise has long been a multiplatformer, regardless of any temporary exclusivity deals that might have been in place. Battlelog Entry Hints at new Battlefield

An entry on the Battlelog is hinting at a brand new Battlefield game, probably to be announced at E3. The code "BFH" has suddenly appeared in the static assets for the Battlelog, along with icons for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. It stands to reason that this is a new title - Battlefield Heroes already has its own different code so a port seems unlikely - but what is it?

Bayonetta 2 was announced exclusively for Wii U, and then it kind of went quiet. Warrior Orochi 3 Ultimate Coming soon to Ps4 and XBOX One

Tecmo Koei Europe announced today that the latest in the Warriors Orochi series is currently in development. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is coming to PS3, PS4, PSVita and the Xbox One and contains the full Warriors Orochi 3, as well as new stories and features. Apple pulls marijuana dealing game ‘Weed Firm’ from app store

The controversial albeit very popular game 'Weed Firm' has been taken down by Apple from the iTunes app store this week. In the game players take on the role of a drug dealer, tasked with growing and selling marijuana to people in their neighbourhood. The player must also avoid police and other rival gangs, with certain mini games including enticing a stripper to become a buyer fanning the flame of controversy even further.
