CD Project held their pre-E3 conference yesterday, with a lot of focus on their upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Specifically, they revealed the box art, the release date and a couple of special edition boxsets, as well as a new trailer.

After a successful release on PC earlier this year, the free-to-play third person shooter Loadout is making its way onto PS4. Loadout will be a console exclusive, only appearing on PS4 and the already released PC version.

Natsume, the company behind the Harvest Moon series which has graced numerous platforms, announced that they would be showing off three new Nintendo titles at E3. Little more was said, with no hints at whether or not these would be for 3DS or Wii U, or whether these were new franchises or not. Either way, a new Harvest Moon game would be very welcome!

If you were hoping for a Batman-themed Christmas, you might now need to change your plans. The Bat's latest adventure, Arkham Knight, has been delayed into 2015. Rocksteady confirmed the delay last month, under embargo, and today that embargo is up.

Nintendo has an instant hit on their hands, and I'm pretty sure they - and everyone else for that matter - knew it before the game even launched. Opening weekend sales topped 1.2 million units. These numbers should not really be that surprising. After all, not only was Mario Kart 8 one of the most anticipated games of this generation, but there was also that amazing Club Nintendo promotion which gave those who registered Mario Kart 8 a free copy of another popular, Nintendo title. Warner Brothers have today announced the next entry in the Mortal Kombat series. Mortal Kombat X is the long-awaited follow-up to the semi-reboot Mortal Kombat 9, which was really a a remake of sorts of the first three titles in the franchise. Where will they go next? Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to find out, with details due to come out during E3.

As we head into E3, Nintendo continues to do little announcements, this time via twitter. Nintendo of America tweeted out a picture of a GameCube controller adapter for the Wii U, and announced that GameCube controllers would be useable when playing Super Smash Bros. This is great news, as the GameCube controller might be one of the best controllers Nintendo ever released.

For the past year (and a bit), Microsoft has offered an incentive for Xbox users to sign up to Xbox Live Gold by offering a monthly free game to all those with a Gold subscription. Obviously this is a clever move by Microsoft, as not only is it a good way to advertise, but also a fantastic way to make consumers spend more money on additional DLC and game content offered on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

E3 is approaching fast, and with only a little over a week until day 1, I decided I should get my Nintendo E3 predictions out there. Be warned: I have not canvassed the Internet to find what Nintendo is for sure announcing, and I definitely did not attempt to pass off the predictions of others as my own.

After just over two years in development delay limbo, to it's eventual release just two days ago, Watch dogs has been hyped as one of the big new IPs to watch out for (excuse the terrible pun).
