A few month ago, I looked at Rare developed titles that should be re-released. A few weeks after that, I examined two Mario titles I would like to see again with updated visuals. It has been a busy few months for Nintendo, and I've finally found the time to work on my Nintendo HD series once again. This week, its time to look at Nintendo's second largest franchise: The Legend of Zelda

I'm kidding. Smash Wii U will be a fantastic title and completely worth the purchase, but I'm personally worried that Captain Toad is going to get overlooked since it will be released after a Nintendo giant. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is coming, and from the newest trailer, he isn't coming alone. If my memory serves me right, we haven't seen Toadette in a adventure game since Paper Mario on the GameCube. She's back, and appears to play an important role in the games story.

DLC is definitely a hot topic since it began being a thing. Nntendo was always on record saying DLC was not something they would be interested in doing. Their philosophy was that they were giving consumers what they paid for: the game, the COMPLETE game, that was developed. That philosophy has gone straight into the garbage can, however, as Nintendo realizes the benefits of having DLC: Mario Golf: World Tour, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart, Hyrule Warriors, and more are going to nickle and dime you for months after release.

GTA V is made up of a massive explorable world and larger than life characters, but even then you probably wouldn't expect it to weigh in at over 50GB. The EU PlayStation Store has revealed that that'll be the size of the download, however, so digital purchasers will want to take a few hours ahead of time to download, and not expect to just play.

Final Fantasy XIII is going to be released on Steam tomorrow, and Square Enix are helping out those that have already bought it by allowing them to download the files ahead of time. This can be done now. It's also had the added effect of letting us know just how much you're going to need to download - and it's absolutely huge.

Nintendo has hit its stride in the last month and they continue the success with more announcements today, including 3DS Smash Bros sales numbers, and release dates for upcoming games and Amiibo figures.

PC gaming never really died, despite a lot of conversation to the contrary. No, it was just that certain publishers forgot that there were a lot of waiting fans interested in playing the latest console release on their PC. That's now changed, with franchises like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy hitting Steam on an almost weekly basis. No doubt spurned on by recent successes, a large group of gamers are campaigning to have SEGA release titles like Valkyria Chronicles on the PC, and they're getting a lot of support.

Sleeping Dogs is getting an improved release on new gen consoles and PC. Sleeping Dogs Definitive contains improved graphics and all previously released DLC. In Germany, however, this is all completely useless, as the game isn't actually able to start.

There is nothing worse in online games than someone who rage quits. It sucks when playing sports games especially since games are generally one-on-one; it is less of an issue with first person shooter titles as the game will just get repopulated with another player. Super Smash Bros, both for the 3DS and Wii U, falls into the former. If one of four players quits, the game is altered for the worst.

Zombie survival title State of Decay has sold two million copies across both Steam and Xbox Live. Although it's been out for quite some time, re-releases and sales prove that it's still lurching slowly forwards.
