I think its worth discussing because as the price of games rises - at least here in Canada, where a new released comes in at 79.99 - 84.99 compared to 59.99 a few years ago - what we can afford as consumers drastically decreases. If you want to get your hands on Playstation VR, plan to be at a computer at 10:00 AM Eastern time. I have a feeling that, like Oculus, this will sell out...quickly. The pre-sale bundles will be exclusive to this initial preorder window, so if you plan on getting it on day one, perhaps preordering now would be a wise idea. Here is what is included, from Sony PR:

When I came on board with GamesReviews I was a nobody. I had just finished my Master's Degree at the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. BioShock: The Collection for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC has been rated in Taiwan. The name and cover art of the Bioshock: Collections suggests that all three games in the BioShock series with BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite will be included in the collection.

GDC is here, and so are the announcements. Sony has dropped an early bomb laying out the pricing for its new virtual reality device that is set to launch in October of this year. For 549.99 CAN, 399.99 USD, the new headset can be yours. From the press release:

When watching trailers and preview videos for We are the Dwarves on Steam, it was really hard not to get excited. It looked great, the game play was incredibly attractive, and despite a failed Kickstarter campaign, general hype was pretty high. So why then does it fall so flat? One of our reviewers spent considerable amounts of time with We are the Dwarves over the past week and a half, and pinpointed one major problem: and overtly steep and difficult learning curve.

You have to think it was going to happen eventually, but in my opinion, I thought that this would have come as one of the two console giants began to struggle. However, I think Microsoft gets the extra boost of credit as it appears as if they are reaching out to Sony to make this happen. One of the first games to get this treatment: Rocket League.

I cannot say I have ever been a huge fan of the Hitman franchise; I was not a fan of previous installments of the series on console, and I absolutely despised the big screen approach. A few weeks ago I got a code for the Xbox One preview of The Solus Project. Since it is in Xbox One Preview program, I'm holding final judgement until the game is 100% finished. Well March Madness fans and fans of the un-dead, some big updates are on the way from the developers behind Rocket League. Rocket League, which as been a huge hit on PC and Xbox One, continues to take the video game world by storm with even more updates and content. While on service it appears that Rocket League is a very basic, mobile-esque type of game, don't be fooled. It is great, and almost everyone who has played it, loves it!
