We will have LOTS of coverage of the Nintendo Switch over the next few months leading up to the launch of the system, and we will be working closely with Nintendo of Canada to make sure all the important information is front and centre for you the reader. That includes a full system review, and game reviews right around launch day. It all really begins tonight, however, with the long presentation from Nintendo which you will able to see at 8 PM PT, 10 Central, and 11 Eastern on Nintendo's YouTube channel.

Vienna, Austria - January 10, 2017: THQ Nordic is partnering with Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries to bring Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10 to retail stores worldwide via physical packaging release. In addition, purchases of the physical retail release of Halo Wars 2 on Windows 10 PC will grant digital access to the Xbox One version via Xbox Play Anywhere.

Berlin, Jan. 10, 2017 — Fans of turn-based strategy games can mark early 2017 on their calendars as Shock Tactics, developed by Berlin-based Point Blank Games will be released for Windows PC in spring 2017. Shock Tactics combines fast tactical combat, exploration, squad management, and base-building with a mysterious story set on the planet Hephæst.

Last year we took a look at Dragon Quest 7, and we loved it! It fit so perfectly on the 3DS, and with the multitude of updates, things were better than ever before. I think the same can be said about Dragon Quest 8, and while we don't have our full review up yet - it just came in this morning - we can point to a few things!

Everyone puts together a Christmas Wish list, so it's not crazy for us to put together our own "Switch List." This will be a list of the things we will want to see on the Nintendo Switch, both in hardware and software. Lets dive in!

During the Fall of 2016, we reviewed the Creative H7 headset, which brought a $200+ headset to the $120-150 price range. That headset was outstanding, both in microphone quality and audio experience. Not everyone has the funds to purchase a headset that expensive, however, so Creative has come out with a cheaper, but almost equally as amazing, headset in the sub $100 price range. I think 2016 was fairly kind to Nintendo, despite the understanding from both consumers and media that a new system was on the horizon that would definitely kill off the Nintendo Wii U, but could also put a damper on 3DS production. Despite this news, Nintendo still managed to release a number of great titles in 2016, a few of which we gave huge scores too!

Over the Christmas holidays, I have downloaded a number of great, older titles from Steam to bring back parts of my childhood. With time off, I've been able to play through Kings Quest 5, 6 and 7, Roller Coaster Tycoon - also on the iPad, more of that to come - and Pharaoh + Cleopatra! It's been wonderful, and highlights why I enjoy PC gaming so much.
