Tonight is the Night: Nintendo Switch Presentation

We will have LOTS of coverage of the Nintendo Switch over the next few months leading up to the launch of the system, and we will be working closely with Nintendo of Canada to make sure all the important information is front and centre for you the reader. That includes a full system review, and game reviews right around launch day. It all really begins tonight, however, with the long presentation from Nintendo which you will able to see at 8 PM PT, 10 Central, and 11 Eastern on Nintendo's YouTube channel.

THQ Nordic, 343 Industries Will Release HALO Wars 2 for PC at Retail

Vienna, Austria - January 10, 2017: THQ Nordic is partnering with Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries to bring Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10 to retail stores worldwide via physical packaging release. Dragon Quest VIII Action, Adventure, and Intrigue Trailer

Despite New System, Nintendo has an OK 2016

I think 2016 was fairly kind to Nintendo, despite the understanding from both consumers and media that a new system was on the horizon that would definitely kill off the Nintendo Wii U, but could also put a damper on 3DS production. Going Old School on Steam

Over the Christmas holidays, I have downloaded a number of great, older titles from Steam to bring back parts of my childhood. With time off, I've been able to play through Kings Quest 5, 6 and 7, Roller Coaster Tycoon - also on the iPad, more of that to come - and Pharaoh + Cleopatra! It's been wonderful, and highlights why I enjoy PC gaming so much.
