The LEGO Group, in partnership with Majong, is launching the largest Minecraft LEGO set to date on July 1st around the world (249.99 USD, 299.99 CAD). The set will consist of 2,863 pieces, and will include popular figures from the Minecraft universe, including characters Steve and Alex, plus a cave spider, wolf, baby wolf, slime, 2 small slimes, 2 bats, zombie, enderman, skeleton, sheep and a charged Creeper™.

The latest release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game released last week to much fanfare, and for good reason. With new cards and artwork for Pokémon fans to enjoy, this release adds to the already outstanding Pokémon Sun and Moon lineup of cards. Thanks to the Pokémon Company, we have received a number of items to unbox and review. The Forza Horizon series has been incredibly popular, not only amongst fans and media outlets, but here on GamesReviews as well. We scored both Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Horizon 3 with 9+ scores, praising the games varied events, outstanding driving mechanics, authentic weather and day-night cycles, and more. I didn't think my favorite racing franchise could get any better. Even the Blizzard Mountain DLC for Forza Horizon 3 wasn't enough to make me go "wow." Hot Wheels will do that though, and it did, thanks to the latest DLC release last week.

A full review of NBA Playgrounds on Nintendo Switch isn't currently possible with arguably the games biggest mode being currently unavailable. Without online play, NBA Playgrounds is a fun experience for a few games, but without someone human to play with, the experience becomes pretty dull, pretty quickly.

After getting all his chores complete and his homework finished, the highlight of my sons evening last night was busting open The Goonies level pack for LEGO Dimensions and putting together the wicked looking minibuilds that come included. While my overall knowledge of The Goonies is fairly minimal, you cannot help but appreciate how much detail goes in to One Eyed Willy's Pirate Ship and the Skeleton Organ. When we were putting together are Christmas 2016 buyers guide, we pointed to LEGO Dimensions as the must own game during the holiday season, with a great lineup of expansion packs already available for purchase, and more popular franchises coming in the coming months. This week, LEGO Dimensions and Warner Bros. are delivering on that with retail releases of The Goonies, Harry Potter, and LEGO City.
