Thanks to our friends at Skybound and Sideshow Collectibles, I had the early opportunity to play Dark Harvest, a game about harvesting and spending souls, as well as influence tokens, to...well...get more souls. Because to win at Dark Harvest, you need to have the most souls in your possession, and how better to get souls than to get some great reapers on your side. With the last two installments of the Assassin's Creed franchise, Ubisoft has reworked the games entire formula while trying to stay true to what made the original so fantastic - stealthy mechanics, outstanding kills, and more. While Origins and Odyssey were surprisingly similar - small welcome changes did come when we headed to ancient Greece - it appears as if Ubisoft is taking a big leap forward with Valhalla, and I couldn't be more excited.

There really isn't a point to sugar coating it. Prior to the introduction of Xbox Game Pass - a brilliant business decision that puts fans first - Microsoft was floundering with the Xbox One family in the console space. Big franchises seemed to die on the platform, most notably Fable, and the console just never picked up steam to compete with the PlayStation 4. And all of these critiques comes from a guy who played the majority of games this generation on the Xbox One X.

The summer update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons came at just the right time for myself. To date, without time traveling of course, I had collected all the fish, found all the bugs, and purchased a new piece of artwork from Redd every time he was at my island. I had played, replayed, and then played again the fishing and bug tournaments, all in hopes of getting 300 points and that gold trophy. I had breeded and obtained every flower in the game (outside that elusive Blue Rose), and I had a five star island. What's a man to do?
