When Nintendo announced and showed a brief snipit of Paper Mario: The Origami King, I was cautiously optimistic that the company was returning to what made the first two titles in the series so fantastic. Then they showed the puzzle battle system. Then they announced via an interview with Game Informer that there wouldn't be any experience points. And my hopes for the game went from an 8-9/10 to a 2-3/10. Gutted would have been the correct word to use.

After finally firing up Grounded on my Xbox One X via Xbox Game Pass, I quickly realized I had one major complaint - that the game didn't launch at 12:01 AM Eastern, instead launching at 1:00 PM Eastern. It's been a while since we got to jump into a brand new Halo experience, but we will be getting that opportunity soon when Halo Infinite launches. Two things struck me when watching the gameplay trailer. 1) This looks like more Halo; and 2) holy crap this looks fantastic.
