Earlier this year, reviews for Hisense's Q8G model of TV began hitting in the interwebs, and it seems as if reviewers have been generally impressed with the model. While Hisense might not be the first brand that pops into your mind when you think about purchasing a new TV, perhaps it should be. While we have yet to try a Hisense TV ourselves - which we hope to rectify soon - went and hunted down some folks who are using these TVs, to get some of their insights.

Wingspan has taken the board game world by storm since winning the 2019 Kennerspiel des Jahres for best connoisseur game of the year. Designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and published by our friends at Stonemaier Games, this 1-5 player game will have you placing birds in specific habitats to score points, with the winner having the most points after 4 rounds. Let's talk about the setup, and then look at how Wingspan plays.

While my kids really enjoyed putting the starter set together, it became quite obvious that more sets were going to be purchased, as the kids really wanted to expand their course building options. When Nintendo and LEGO partnered up to release some building sets, I was incredibly excited. I had visions of beautifully crafted sets that utilized amazing mini figures. After all, have you seen the Disney Minifigure Collection? It's brilliant, and I fully expected Nintendo to match, or exceed, that line-up. Then the sets were revealed and demoed and my excitement went from a 10, down to a 4. Now that I've played with the starter kit, have my initial thoughts changed? Let's take a look!

Through the Ages is one of the best board games, both in my opinion and based on the opinion of millions of users on Board Game Geek. While the game appears incredibly complex when you get it out of the box - there literally are hundreds of cards to sift through, sort, and set up! - the game play is so intuitive and easy to understand, and by your third or fourth round, it will all feel very natural.

When LEGO and Nintendo first announced the LEGO Super Mario line-up of building block sets, I was incredibly skeptical. Instead of traditional LEGO minifigure sized sets, LEGO opted to created more interactive experience with large, chunky character and figures to play with. And from early reviews across the board - from brick review companies to video game review companies - reviews of the toys have been surprisingly good, pushing me to buy up any stock I can! There is one problem though - I cannot find local stock.

When the Genki Covert Dock popped up on Kickstarter last year, I was definitely intrigued. How could something so small, do so much? I'll admit right here, that using third party docks definietly worried me as so many others had failed and bricked systems. Thankfully, by all accounts, this dock from Genki won't cause those problems, and I cannot wait to try it out!

Today, Ubisoft® announced that Hyper Scape will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 11 with its Season One: “The First Principle”. Players will experience new gameplay content, new Hyper Scape Crowncast features, and will discover more about the Hyper Scape universe throughout the first Season. The Hyper Scape Open Beta, currently live on PC only, will end on August 2.
