It's hard to really gauge the popularity of specific LEGO sets because so many are produced for consumption. Sure, in unique scenarios, very specific sets sell out, and they sell out quickly. Think about the $800+ LEGO Millennium Falcon, for example. But LEGO Super Mario has always been available, with a few sets going out of stock early on, only to be plentiful now. Things must be going well, however, as LEGO moves to release even more sets in 2021.

LEGO recently announced it's latest building set partnership, and it is one I never thought I would see. Beginning November 1, 2020, LEGO fans can pick up the 123 Sesame Street set, which is part of the LEGO IDEAS collection. For those unaware, LEGO IDEAS is a place for fans to get creative with LEGO ideas, have fans vote on their favourites, and then LEGO sees what they can do to bring it to life.

In August of 2020, The LEGO Group released a brand new group of Harry Potter LEGO sets, which when put together, create a large, connected Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizarding. While most of these new sets in 2020 come with a heftier price tag, when put together, it's both an aesthetic marvel, and a great playing toy. Thanks to our friends at LEGO, we had the opportunity to build Set 75969, Hogwarts Astronomy Tower. Let's take a look!

Thanks to our friends at The LEGO Group, we have been looking and and reviewing a number of fantastic LEGO Super Mario products. You can read our review of the Starter Kit here! While my kids really enjoyed putting the starter set together, it became quite obvious that more sets were going to be purchased, as the kids really wanted to expand their course building options. When Nintendo and LEGO partnered up to release some building sets, I was incredibly excited. I had visions of beautifully crafted sets that utilized amazing mini figures. After all, have you seen the Disney Minifigure Collection? It's brilliant, and I fully expected Nintendo to match, or exceed, that line-up. Then the sets were revealed and demoed and my excitement went from a 10, down to a 4. Now that I've played with the starter kit, have my initial thoughts changed? Let's take a look!

When LEGO and Nintendo first announced the LEGO Super Mario line-up of building block sets, I was incredibly skeptical. Instead of traditional LEGO minifigure sized sets, LEGO opted to created more interactive experience with large, chunky character and figures to play with. And from early reviews across the board - from brick review companies to video game review companies - reviews of the toys have been surprisingly good, pushing me to buy up any stock I can! There is one problem though - I cannot find local stock.
