Developed and published by indie-developer OhNoo Studio, TSIOQUE is a 2D point-and-click adventure game that has been on my wishlist for a while now. So, when I was offered the chance to play and review the game, I jumped at the opportunity. While point-and-click games certainly have their place in the world of gaming, they have never been particularly effective at opening themselves up to wider audiences. Can TSIOQUE shake this stereotype? Let’s find out!

NAIRI: Tower of Shirin
Nairi just wants to find her parents, but she keeps running into so many other things she has to do first, like escape from a cat gang’s hideout for instance. Welcome to NAIRI: Tower of Shirin for the Nintendo Switch. This new adventure game has an interesting setup, but is it a good game? NAIRI: Tower of Shrini is an Adventure game but also an interactive story. The player does not see Nairi walking around, instead the story is told…

NAIRI: Tower of Shirin is coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 29th. I think that the game looks very interesting. I like that it uses the touch screen in handheld mode and that it also makes use of the joy-con pointer for TV mode. NAIRI’s graphics also look really good. We…

I recently got a Playstation 4. Since day one, I’ve wanted to review a game for the system. And then Ratalaika Games provided me with a PS4 review code for Shadow of Loot Box. This is my first Playstation 4 review. Did I enjoy the game? I wanted to love Shadow of Loot Box. When I first started the game, I liked its retro blocky graphics and its interesting “unlock almost everything” concept. Unfortunately, the more I played the game,…
Read MoreThe Colonists Review
Released late last month, The Colonists is a casual city builder from the one-man, UK-based indie developer Codebyfire. Inspired by classic games such as The Settlers and the Anno series, The Colonists adds some welcome twists and innovation to a genre that at times can fall into a very repetitive pattern.

Home Sweet Home is a first-person indie-horror game inspired by Thai myths and beliefs that was recently released on PS4 and Xbox One from Thai developer Yggdrazil. Yggdrazil is not known for game creation, as it boasts projects in VFX, Animation, Art Design and Online-Editing categories, with very little focus on games. For a company with such a diverse portfolio, it would be an understatement to say I was surprised with the overall quality of Home Sweet Home.

Two-man indie developer out of Spain, Isolated Games, has begun an enormous undertaking. They are in the process of developing Between The Stars, an open-world space-themed action RPG with roguelike elements. If you think that is a mouthful to say, imagine what it must be like for a two-man team to create. While this may seem a monumental task, the guys at Isolated Games have made significant strides and recently released a demo of the game which I simply had to try out!

I was born in the 1980s. So for me, there is a lot of nostalgia to be found in those years. The 90s, not so much, but there was so much I loved in the 80s. From cartoons to tv shows to movies, the 80s has cool stuff in spades. When you get a movie (Ready Player One) or a video game, such as The VideoKid, thats all about taping into 80s nostalgia than I’m interested. I recently got The…

Last night, I finally bought Undertale for the Nintendo Switch. Yes, I know I’m very late to the bandwagon. And I’d also normally just write a More Thoughts about Undertale (I still might) but I had thoughts about the game after playing it last night. I just had to share! Undertale is such a strange game. First you get attacked by a flower, then you get saved by a creature who wants to keep you locked in her home, and…
