When I heard that an upcoming indie would mix Golf and the rpg genre together, I was intrigued. I’m not really a sports fan but I tend to like unrealistic golf games. The highly anticipated Middle Earth: Shadow of War will release today at retail, and as a digital download for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. We just received our review key from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and will have a review of the title soon! Shadow of War is the sequel to the highly regarded Shadow of Mordor title form a few years back. Monster Hunter Stories came out this month for the 3DS. I played the demo and thought it was good. Adam Roffel played the whole game and enjoyed it. I've never had the pleasure of playing a YS game before, and after playing YS VII: Lacrimosa of Dana I really wish I had. From the first cutscenes to the moment I was able to take control of the games protagonist, Adol. Although the game isn't without a few faults, it is an outstanding experience from start to finish, one I'm really glad I was able to play.

Earthlock: Festival of Magic is a brand new turn-based rpg for the Wii U eshop. Yes I just said a brand new game for the Wii U! When the Pixel Pals were first launched by PDP, we noticed a number of people commenting on our social media threads that Performance Design Products was going to cater to the Nintendo audience with these releases, and basically leaving out the 'hardcore' audience.
