When I heard that an upcoming indie would mix Golf and the rpg genre together, I was intrigued. I’m not really a sports fan but I tend to like unrealistic golf games. And of course I’m a huge rpg fan. Then I saw previews for Golf Story for Nintendo Switch and became very intrigued! The game looked really good. Well, I’ve finally got my hands on Golf Story and here are my impressions of the game so far. Golf Story…

Read MoreMore Thoughts From Me #88: Switch Indie Game “Madness”
Last week, I was going to write about third party games. Instead, I wrote about the Adventure games coming to the Switch. This week…well, I have to admit I’m starting to wonder if the Switch even needs third party games! Don’t get wrong: it would be very nice to see more third party games come to the Switch, however, have you seen how many games came out for the system last week? And this week? I’ve never watched the One Piece Anime nor have I read its manga. I’m not a fan of Anime or manga. So when editor-in-chief Adam Roffel asked if I wanted to review One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch, I was a bit skeptical. I didn’t believe the rumor about a Mario crossover game with Ubisoft’s Rabbids. I thought it was just something somebody with a lot of time and an overactive imagination came up with. And when I found out it was true, I wondered how good a game with Mario and the Rabbids could be. I was very impressed by the first footage of the game though. I was starting to get excited about Mario and Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Would this game…

Earthlock: Festival of Magic is a brand new turn-based rpg for the Wii U eshop. Yes I just said a brand new game for the Wii U! You do not see that very often, especially now that even Nintendo has abandoned the system for the Switch. So I have to admit I was pretty excited for this game. I love rpgs, I love the Wii U, and I think its great to play a new game on the system again.…
Read MorePDP’s Latest Shipment Shows They are About Diversity of Franchises
When the Pixel Pals were first launched by PDP, we noticed a number of people commenting on our social media threads that Performance Design Products was going to cater to the Nintendo audience with these releases, and basically leaving out the 'hardcore' audience. From what we have seen, however, this is far from the truth, and the latest shipments we have received for review speak volumes to that.
