More Thoughts From Me #242: Finding Andromeda

Recently, I checked out the Mass Effect Andromeda demo. I had never played this Mass Effect before. I didn’t know at first that I had just downloaded the whole game and I had a ten hour trial to check it out! And so I played the game for about 7 hours and I have some thoughts on Mass Effect Andromeda! I have played the first couple of Mass Effect games. I liked the first one more because it was much…

Ys Origin First Impressions

A long time ago, I played an Ys game on the SNES. I thought it was okay. Then more recently, I played a demo of a recent Ys and thought it was not too good. So I’m not an Ys fan but I am open to the series. One of my favorite youtubers, Happy Console Gamer, is a huge fan and I trust his opinion. And when I was offered a review copy of Ys Origin for Nintendo Switch, I…

More Thoughts From Me #241: Taking Another Look

I love Square Enix and especially the rpgs that they make. Final Fantasy 12 and Octopath Traveler are two Square Enix games that I wanted to love, but I just didn’t. And now I’m taking another look at them. I have a lot of time on my hands lately. There isn’t much on TV and I don’t have much else to do. I’ve taken a break from reviewing for personal reasons. So I am just playing a bunch of games…

I decided to get Tales of Vesperia because it looked good and it was on sale! And I’m glad I got it. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Tales Of games. I played one on the Gamecube which I thought was alright. Very good graphics, okay battle system. And I…

Genshin Impact First Impressions

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game that is now out on the Playstation 4, PC, and mobile. I downloaded it for the PS4 and I’ve played it a little bit. Here are my first impression of Genshin Impact for the PS4! Genshin Impact is free to download and play. I was very curious to see if this game is any good. Unlike many free-to-play games, Genshin Impact is a single player game, although I hear that online co-op does open…

Nostalgic Gaming – Kingdom of Alamur Re-Reckoning

About a week ago, we got our review code for Kingdom of Alamur Re-Reckoning on the Xbox One. Because of a few code delivery issues, we didn't the chance to start playing the game until after reviews for the re-release had already dropped. Based on the score sand comments I was seeing, I was incredibly nervous to boot this experience up. It was reviewing so badly.
