Lego City Undercover Goes Multiplatform in April

Lego City Undercover is one of my favorite games on the Wii U. The game is a lot of fun. It was also an exclusive game for the system for a long time. But soon, non-Wii U players will get a chance to check out the game. Lego City Undercover will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in April. We have a new trailer for the game below and more details about the multiplatform…

Nintendo Switch Unboxing – Nintendo Minute (Video)

The Nintendo Switch is almost here! Many game review sites have a Switch, but can’t do an unboxing of the system yet. However, Nintendo Minute, Nintendo of America’s official youtube show, did an unboxing today! Take a look at this video and then please come back for my thoughts on it. The Nintendo Switch looks amazing in this video. I’ve seen other videos with the system, but I never realized just how small and sleek the system was before. The…

Back to Bed Review

One of the best things about Indies is that they are not afraid of being weird. Indies generally take more chances than third party developers and create games that are unique and interesting. Not all of these unique and interesting games are good, but I love how Indies are willing to experiment. Take, for instance, Back to Bed for Wii U. You would not see a third party, maybe not even a first party developer, create a game about saving a sleepwalker.

Horizon Zero Dawn Review

New game IPs and new franchises are always exciting, but understandably terrifying at the same time. There is so much that could go wrong with new ideas, characters, and game play mechanics, but at the same time, so many possibilities to create something new in a marketplace of spin offs and copy cats.

More Thoughts From Me #57: Looking Back At The Gameboy

It was a little bulky portable that you held with two hands. The screen was green and so were all the games. The graphics would probably be too basic for most gamers these days. Back then though, it was impressive to be able to play games like Tetris, a Super Mario Bros game, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the palms of your hands. Yes, today I’m going to take a look back at the original Gameboy: the good, the…

Halo Wars 2 Review

I long debated doing this review for Halo Wars 2, and while I plan to affix a score to this when I’m finished, I feel like readers should look at this as impressions. I have one reason for this: RTS games do not translate well to the console experience, and despite the good job Microsoft Studios has done with both the original Halo Wars, and this subsequent title, it is still not the ideal playing situation. Halo Wars 2 on…
