Insomniac has created some really great experiences in the past, and when word spread that they would be the developer behind a new Spider-Man game exclusive to the PS4, fans were pretty excited about the prospects. Developers of the fantastic - although perhaps under appreciated Sunset Overdrive - took a lot of what made that game fantastic, and brought it over to the Marvel version of New York city. When I saw Into the Breach on the recent Nindie Nintendo Direct, I knew I wanted to review it. I love turn-based tactical games, plus Into the Breach just looked really neat. The Portal Knights team has been very active on social media ever since the game originally launched, and now that things are up and running on every platform imaginable - Steam, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android - the team is busy pumping out content updates to support the ever growing fan base. Although these updates are not coming as fast as fans would like - and I'm sure the Portal Knights development team would like to see certification faster as well - when they do launch, it is with much fanfare and anticipation!

Nintendo of America had a indie showcase video today. We have the video below and my thoughts on it. I thought todays Nindies Showcase video was ok. Overall, I wasn’t too impressed with most of the games. The two games that stuck out to me were Into the Breach (out today!) and Treasure Stack. I love tactical rpgs and puzzle games.
