geek together feat

Couples Who Geek Together, Stay Together!

Something I learned early in life was that for a relationship to work, you both must accept the other for who they are, rather than trying to change them into someone you wish they were. A major part of that is embracing (or ideally sharing) each other's passions and hobbies. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, there has never been a better time to embrace your significant other's hobbies!

Bridge Constructor feat

Bridge Constructor Ultimate Edition Review

Originally released in 2011, Bridge Constructor is one of the most successful physics-based puzzle games ever to grace our presence. Using a variety of materials, you are tasked with constructing a plethora of different bridges. Somehow, the folks over at ClockStone took this simple concept and created a wildly entertaining and seriously challenging game. While Bridge Constructor has been around for a long time, the Ultimate Edition was released on the Nintendo ...

Frostpunk: The Last Autumn 1

Frostpunk: The Last Autumn DLC Review

Released on PC in 2018, Frostpunk might be my favourite city-builder of all time. Its most recent DLC, Frostpunk: The Last Autumn, brings you back to the time just before the ...

Diablo IV 1

My Hopes for Diablo IV

With the recent announcements around Diablo IV, the time is ripe for fans of the franchise to throw around their demands on the game and their (somewhat founded) fears that its release will be as rocky as its most recent predecessor's. While it is undeniable that Diablo III's release left much to be desired, the end product remained true to the franchise and did its best to address many issues that ran rampart in Diablo II, including botting and duping, which ...

Afterglow Wireless 3

PDP Afterglow Wireless Deluxe Controller Review

In recent times, PDP has solidified its position as a manufacturer of quality gaming accessories. Perhaps most notably among these is their line of controllers for the Nintendo Switch. While the Switch is undeniably a great console, many adult users (including myself) have a difficult time with the smaller JoyCon controls. This is completely reasonable, however, as they are intended to be used by kids as well. It does create a need, however, for larger and more ...

1stPlayer K8 1

1stPlayer K8 Fire Dancing Kit Review

These days, most products are tailored to one specific function. It makes sense that having a singular focus will help create the best version of that product. It also means that it becomes harder to use that product for any purpose other than the one it was specifically made for. This is as true about gaming accessories as it is about anything else. For example, have you tried writing an essay on a mechanical keyboard? Sure the keystrokes might be quick, but ...
