Bioshock Remade in Unreal 4 Looks Awesome

Bioshock was quite a nice looking game when it was first released, but it hasn't aged well on consoles. Even though it's only seven years old, I'm positive there are people out there that wouldn't mind seeing a bit of an update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can add at least one more person to that list. The video below shows Bioshock as it would look in the Unreal 4 Engine. It convinced me, it might just convince you too.

Family Guy The Quest for Stuff Review

So it's come to this. The Simpsons Tapped Out was a huge hit, and Fox have decided to double dip, bringing the idea to another of their hit animated shows. Family Guy The Quest for Stuff begins when Peter Griffin, hopeless sap and generally terrible person, accidentally burns down the city of Quahog while fighting with a giant chicken. It's up to you to rebuild it, but not without helping Bonnie dance on a stripper pole, Quagmire release a certain type of ...

Ratchet and Clank Adventuring to Vita?

All of Sony's main HD trilogies are now available on the Vita, and a lot of the third party collections have made their way across as well. There's one major franchise missing, and it's especially surprising since they've made their way to the console in a separate game already. Ratchet and Clank HD isn't yet available on Sony's latest handheld, but it seems like that might change fairly soon.

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV was surprisingly announced in 2009, was released in 2010 to terrible reviews and was closed in 2012. There aren't many AAA titles that get to be classed as unmitigated disasters, but the latest Final Fantasy MMO fit the bill. Not content with writing it off, Square Enix began repairing things that fans had disliked, and in 2013 released Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn onto PlayStation 3 and PC. 2014 saw the re-release hit PlayStation 4, but ...

Goat Simulator Getting Retail Release

Goat Simulator is the latest YouTube sensation in which you, as a goat, must terrorize a small neighbourhood. Known for its mind-bending glitches and general inanity, as a game it sits somewhere alongside Surgeon Simulator in terms of depth. Still, this things can get popular, and so Koch Media, the publisher behind Saints Row, are bringing out a physical release in the UK.

PlayStation Beats Xbox on Quantity AND Quality, Although it’s Gamers That Win

When Neogaf user DeadPixel made a list of all the games released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 since release, there was a lot of discussion about quality vs quantity. Is it better to have a lot of smaller releases, including re-releases of indie games from the previous generation, or bigger AAA titles like Titanfall? Your answer probably aligns somewhat with your console of choice. GamesReview's very own Steven Van Eekeran wasn't convinced that it was an issue ...

EU May PlayStation Plus Titles Announced

It's that time of the month again. Sony have announced the new PlayStation Plus games for May 2014, and this time around there's more of a mixed bag. While April's games introduced a few largely unwanted sports games, this coming month might seem a little underwhelming at first, especially if you're the sort of person who only plays "adult" games. Still, five free games, and all of them worth checking out.

First Image of Call of Duty 2014 Released

IGN and Sledgehammer have released an image of the next Call of Duty, supposedly from in-game footage. Call of Duty 2014 has yet to be fully revealed, although it was confirmed earlier this year that it would be made with a focus on new-gen consoles. Perhaps the release of this image, with its rather excellent texturing, is a continuation of that.
