There's been a lot of rumours about the next Fallout game lately, and while a lot of them have been proven fake (and the others didn't need to be...), there's one pretty big rule in this industry: if you're hearing a lot about it, expect an official announcement of some sort. Bethesda has held tight, often refusing to even acknowledge these rumours exist. Why? Probably because their new-gen titles are nowhere near ready.

Child of Light Coming to Vita
Child of Light is an absolutely staggeringly beautiful game, great fun and impressing critics left and right. There's one problem though: if you're not sat at a console, you're not going to be able to enjoy it. That's why it's great news that Ubisoft have announced that they're bringing Aurora and pals to the PlayStation Vita later this year.
Read MoreZombie Vs Plants Isn’t What You Think
Popcap's Plants Vs Zombies is one of the biggest casual titles in the world. There were always going to be clones and "influenced bys," but one indie developer has gone one step further. He's turned the tables, letting players get revenge as a gun-toting zombie in Zombie Vs Plants. There's only one question: how long till EA shut the whole thing down?
Read MoreBandai Namco Hint at Digimon Localisation
Digimon rode the same wave Pokemon did for a while in the nineties, but when the fad ended, so too did the mainstream acceptance of those digital champions. Pokemon kept working as a full-on RPG and Digimon, at least here in the UK, disappeared from charts. That might be about to change.

We've all been waiting a long time for a new console entry in the Legend of Zelda franchise, and while Hyrule Warriors probably wasn't what the majority of us had in mind, it's in no way a bad thing. It'll offer a fresh look at Zelda's kingdom, and will probably benefit quite a bit from the Dynasty Warriors style. Despite all that, there's still a lot we don't know about the game. This is especially surprising when you realize that it's only a few months away ...

This is big news for them, or at least that's how they're trying to frame it. In reality, they're trying to cash in on next-gen excitement while the time is ripe.

Got a gaming PC? Good news then: Ubisoft's upcoming Watch Dogs should run fairly well for you. It's a decent looking game, but you're not going to need a super powerful rig to get it running. No, it's playable on 'ultra' settings with a Geforce 670 - a decent card but hardly high end.

Batman might have ruined the superhero genre for us. While that type of title has never been especially strong on the whole, Arkham Asylum and its sequels proved that it could be done. So why are Activision still relying almost entirely on a format that's been basically unchanged since Spider-man 2 ten years ago? The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is another film tie-in that falls short of expectation, but it's the Spidey-by-Numbers feel that is the most surprising.

I suppose you think Halo 5 was already announced and official, right? Well, technically it was. Halo 5: Guardians will be developed by 343 Industries and will be available for purchase in Fall 2015.
