If you were hoping for a Batman-themed Christmas, you might now need to change your plans. The Bat's latest adventure, Arkham Knight, has been delayed into 2015. Rocksteady confirmed the delay last month, under embargo, and today that embargo is up.

Warner Brothers have today announced the next entry in the Mortal Kombat series. Mortal Kombat X is the long-awaited follow-up to the semi-reboot Mortal Kombat 9, which was really a a remake of sorts of the first three titles in the franchise. Where will they go next? Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to find out, with details due to come out during E3.

Max The Curse of Brotherhood was a big release on Xbox One when it first came out. It was given decent ad time to the point where even people with no interest in the console were seeing videos. Now available on PC, the need to have the latest Microsoft console is gone, but the quality of the game remains. This is a game that looks new-gen, with beautiful textures and bright colours you wouldn't get anywhere else.

A key part of Sony's Instant Game Collection has been the "evergreen" titles that you can download at any time. These have traditionally lasted a year and are due for a change in the coming weeks. Today, Fred Dutton has confirmed that these PlayStation Plus staples will be disappearing for good when they go, and that they won't be replaced. Instead fans will have access to one more PlayStation 4 game per month.

It was always pretty obvious that Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare would end up on PlayStation devices. I'm not sure Popcap or EA ever denied it either. The franchise has long been a multiplatformer, regardless of any temporary exclusivity deals that might have been in place. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories don't get the love they deserve. As expansions on the PS2 classics, they built on the stories and characters of their respective games, but were left behind by only being available on PSP for the majority of their lifespan. A late release on PS2 and digital release on PS3 meant fans could rebuy, but hopefully the newly announced Vita version will offer a new life to these all too overlooked titles.

Most developers have a problem. It's obvious that either Nolan North or Troy Baker needs to be cast as the male lead, but which one?
