This year, Microsoft unveiled their Xbox One Elite controller, a controller that any one who plays console video games would love to have. Unfortunetly, the price here in Canada is pushing 200$ after you factor in taxes. For that kind of money, you could almost get a Wii U! Little Battlers Experience Review
Unless you have young kids, there is a really good chance you have never heard of Little Battlers Experience, or LBX for short. I am not in that camp; my five year old son watches LBX religiously and was very excited for the release of this 3DS title. When the review code finally came through, however, I was surprised, as I thought this was a Holiday 2015 title.

There is something wonderful about getting old games remastered for new systems, but also something inherently problematic. Often these titles, from the present looking to the past, are viewed as iconic, industry changing experiences. With a re-release, the question almost always becomes, "Will it live up to the original?" Gears of War: Ultimate Edition walks the fine line between being an outstanding shooter, but with many faults. Updated graphics and an ...

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt really shocked the video game world when it announced 16 free DLC packs, ranging from cosmetic upgrades to extra missions, weapons, and items. But it was all free. Free if you purchased the game digitally. Free if you purchased the standard edition, and free if you purchased the deluxe edition. It was free even if you didn't preorder the game, and it was free if you bought the game used.

Bandai Namco and the Pokemon Company teamed up a while back to launch Pokken Tournament into arcades. While most people figured it would come to console at some point, I think the majority had it pegged as a launch title for the Nintendo NX next year. Apparently this will not be the case. Today, Pokken Tournament was announced for Wii U with a Spring 2016 launch date.
Read MoreX15 Toronto: NHL 16 makes up for NHL 15 Blunders
The latest NHL title from EA Sports is outstanding. After playing through a few games with various media members at X15 in Toronto, I realized I really was playing an improved NHL game. To be fair, for NHL 16 to be better than the first NHL release on current generation consoles is not very difficult. NHL 15 played great, but lacked features previous titles had. NHL 16 fixes all of that.
