I'm not sure October could have become any better for CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the award winning Witcher franchise and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game. Not only did they launch the first of two large expansion packs this month - which was very good by the way, more below - but they also took home five awards in the Golden Joysticks 2016!

Yo-Kai Watch has already taken over Japan with multiple games, merchandise, and a TV Show. In fact, the creators have publicly stated that they feel they are more popular than Pokemon in the country. On Friday, we will see if that success translates in North America as well.

Nintendo needs to be applauded, loudly. Their support for Splatoon has been incredible, not only with updates to the game itself, but also by hosting frequent Splatfest's surrounding special events.
