Figment 2: Creed Valley Demo Thoughts
Yesterday’s Indie World Showcase showed off some interesting games and a few things announced were released on the eshop. One of the things released was a demo of Figment 2: Creed Valley. I checked it out and here are my thoughts.
Figment 2: Creed Valley is an action-adventure game that takes place inside of a mind.
The official description of the game is: “Figment 2: Creed Valley is an action-adventure game set in the human mind. Nightmares are spreading chaos and enemies have overrun once-peaceful lands. Join Dusty, The Mind’s courage, as you make your way through puzzles, musical boss fights and unique environments.”
The demo has Dusty and his bird companion navigating puzzles and fighting enemies with his trusty sword. The game’s graphics are really nice; a bit of color with moody darkness. The gameplay starts off easy with simple puzzles and then gets a bit more complex as you go.
The combat will be familiar to anyone who has played overhead dungeon crawlers. You swing your sword and have a dodge roll. It works well.
The Figment 2 demo is out now. We recommend it if you like quirky action/adventure games with puzzles and an interesting story. Try the demo out now! The full game comes out in February 2022!
