Disney Dreamlight Valley Missions In Uncharted Space First Thoughts
Disney Dreamlight Valley received its second update yesterday. I checked it out a little bit and here are my first impressions of Missions in Uncharted Space! Warning: this article might include some spoilers about the update so don’t read this if you want to go into the update unspoiled.
Disney Dreamlight Valley released its second update yesterday. The update was called Missions In Uncharted Space. It was a pretty big update too. I checked it out and have some thoughts on it. Keep in mind that this is only the tip of the iceberg!
The first thing I did when checking out the update, of course, was go to the Toy Story realm. Thankfully, I had saved up enough Dreamlight to open the door in the castle. Once in there, I met Buzz and Woody. I won’t tell you what I did to help them. I will say that it was both fun and also “oh, of course I have to do this”. Disney Dreamlight does love its fetch quests! I really enjoyed being in the Toy Story Realm though. It was nice to visit and I’ve already been back there once after Buzz and Woody moved in.
Yes, Buzz and Woody get “houses” in the Valley just like the rest of the characters. Of course you have to pay Scrooge to get the houses there. Sigh. I wish I had saved up more money. I had enough for Buzz but needed to make more money to get Woody to move in. It was well worth it though!
There is a new Festive Event too. It replaces the previous Halloween event. It looks pretty cool, though I wish I had more moonstones to unlock the premium path. I will try to save them up. I don’t want to buy any.
I also started the quest to get Stitch. It looks like this one will take a few days. That’s nice to see. I don’t want to unlock everything on the first day! I’m looking forward to seeing Stitch though.
Overall, I like the update a lot. The Toy Story realm might be my favorite realm so far. I know I’m going to talk to Buzz and Woody a lot. There’s also some other things I haven’t seen yet from the update and I can’t wait to encounter them.
Disney Dreamlight Valley still isn’t without its faults. I was doing a mission for Buzz Lightyear and the game froze up on me. I had to back out. Thankfully the auto-save kept me from repeating too much. Hopefully more the faults will be smoothed out as we get closer to the games full release. That all said, I cannot wait to see what the game has in store for us next!
