Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct 11.7.2017

There was a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Nintendo Switch) Direct today. We have the full Direct below, plus my impressions of it!

I was very impressed by todays Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Direct.

I did think that the new Xenoblade looked good previously but todays Direct made me a true believer. Everything from the hints of the game’s story to the battle system and beyond looks fantastic!

While we don’t know too much about Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s story, todays Direct did show off some cutscenes and they were super impressive. The graphics, yes, are stunning but the cinematic look of this game is thrilling too. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 reminds me of a Final Fantasy game. The production values of this game are deep and so is the actual game too.

Todays Direct showed off just how deep the gameplay is Xenoblade 2 is! There are tons of ways to level up your blades and customize your characters. I was drooling over all that menu goodness. I know there are some people who don’t like complex menus like this but those people just shouldn’t be playing rpgs like this. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 looks like it’ll be the best rpg on the Nintendo Switch yet.

There are a lot of rpgs on the Switch already but none of them look like they’ll stand up against Xenoblade Chronicles 2. And with the addition of DLC, the biggest surprise of the Direct, it looks like this game will be thrilling fans a long time after its December 1st release date!
