Lies of P
For those who have played Dark Souls you will be familiar with the feel and play style of the game, but you might be surprised just how different the makers have made it look. You’re thrust into a dystopian clockwork work, and although you’re not Timothee Chalamet, you have an uncanny resemblance to him.
There are cryptic forces, a wide range of fun combat controls, and some of the most intense boss encounters you may have seen for a while. Lies of P is a great game with a lot of surprises and interesting graphics.
Play Lies of P on PS4, PS5, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox Series S & X, macOS and PC.

Immortals of Aveum
If the name already sounds like a spell you’d want to be casting – then good news! While it has all of the good stuff that a regular shooter has, you’re actually a warlock. In most cases your warlock self is too big for their boots, and comes with a little bit of an attitude. You’ll be firing off magical things instead of bullets from your hands.
The graphics are great, and before long you’ll have a brain full of all the magical shapes and items you’ll need to put paid to the latest foe you’re facing. The game is stunning, and there is plenty to do – so if you are looking for a game that will help you waste some hours – this is it.
You can play Immortals of Aveum on Ps4, PS5, Xbox Series X & S, and PC.
Pikmin 4
Pikmin is getting increasingly cuter over the years, and has always been in the show of the titans like Zelda. The thing with Pikmin is that it is a really relaxing game, you are a twenty tiny little alien explorer in the cutests costumes you’ve ever seen in your life.
But don’t let the dainty looks fool you, you can communicate with the tiny creatures that you send off on missions to find the treasures of the world. It is a real-time strategy game, so you’ll need to get your thinking cap on to make sure that you send out the right Pikmin to the right places, and you are keeping track of what you have collected and what you need to get.
Oh, and aside from all of that, you’ll need to watch out for the flesh-eating badies who are coming after you.
You can play Pikmin on the Nintendo Switch
Crosswords
Perhaps you want to spend your online time working out your brain, and fast paced games just aren’t what you are looking for. Fear not, because you can kick-back and solve crossword after crossword until you stumble across one that gets you stumbled for a while. Crosswords can be the ultimate in relaxation, and a great way to keep your brain active.
Dave the Diver
Dave the Diver, on paper, looks like it is simply too much for any single game to be. And the worry when you see the list is that – how can it possibly do it all well? Well, Dave the Diver might just be the expectation to rule because it has a little bit of everything in it – and then some. Dave isn’t just a diver – oh no, he is a restaurant owner, he fights beasts in the ocean, he has a farm, and uhm… there is more too! All in all Dave the Diver has so much to do, you can play for hours without it feeling long, the game has excellent progress and it’s just plain pretty to look at.
You can play Dave the Diver on PC or Mac.
Amnesia: The Bunker
Imagine for a second that you are in a bunker, because there is a giant, terrifying monster that hunts you at night. But, you also need to grab supplies to stay alive – so you need to head out to get them. Those familiar with just how scary the first one was, will enjoy that while this one is a step-away, it isn’t too far from the original formula.
Play Amnesia: The Bunker on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S and PC.
