Sony Enters the Next Generation with PS5
November 12th marks the day that Sony officially has entered the next generation of gaming with the PlayStation 5. Months upon months of hype for this console has led to today, and gamers around North America at least are picking up and unboxing their consoles as we speak.
Right out of the box, PS5 owners will be delighted to find a 5-6 hour Astro Bot adventure, which is not only a solid game on its own, but is also a great demo for the capabilities of hte new Dual Sense controller that comes packaged with the system. We received our review console today from PlayStation CAnada, so stay tuned for full reviews of the console, controller, and a plethora of launch titles!
To celebrate the launch of the PlayStation 5 in Canada, the city of Toronto (in Ontario) lit up the Princes’ Gate, which you can see below!

Unfortunately, it does appear as if all the consoles available this morning at various retailers in Canada have since sold out, but many will allow you to register to get notified when stock is available once again! If you have received your console, let us know what you think!
