Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince – Monster Showcase (video)

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is coming out on December 1st. Today, Nintendo of America released a new video that showcases the monsters in the game. Check out the trailer below along with my thoughts on the monsters.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince comes out on December 1st for the Nintendo Switch and today we got a Monster Showcase! I’m very excited by this new video.

I played the demo and loved it. I’m such a huge Dragon Quest fan though. Dragon Quest 9 is my all-time favorite DQ game. I also really love Dragon Quest 11 and talked about here.

And I’m definitely a fan of the monsters in Dragon Quest! They are so whimsical, wacky, and often cute. I just started getting into Pokémon awhile back but I don’t have the nostalgia for the Pokémon that other players do. I do have nostalgia for the Dragon Ques monsters though!

When I watched the Monster Showcase video this morning, I had a huge smile on my face. I kept reacting “oh! There’s that monster” or “oh I’ve never seen that before, thats pretty cool.” I have a lot of nostalgia for the slimes, so it was cool to see new and old slimes there. I did get a kick out of the narrator’s puns too.

Is it December 1st yet? I really can’t wait to get my hands on this game. I just know I’m going to be addicted to Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince!
