Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase (Video)
Disney Dreamlight Valley had a showcase yesterday. It showed off some of the future of the game. Check out the showcase belong along with our thoughts on it.
The Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase aired yesterday. I’ve been a fan of the game since it first came out and have some thoughts on what was shown.
At first, I was very disappointed that Disney Dreamlight Valley wasn’t going free-to-play. However, with the massive amount of content thats on the way, it becomes obvious why the game isn’t going free. Yes, it would have been nice if they had been more upfront about the decision instead of making it at the last moment. That said, there is so much content on the way: free and paid, that it looks like they will more than deserve the money.
On December 5th, Jack Skellington and online multiplayer will be added to Disney Dreamlight Valley. The same day: the first paid DLC expansion will be released.
The expansion will have a totally new island to explore along with three chapters full of new adventures and new characters. Eve (from Wall-E), Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast), Rapunzel (from Tangled), and Jafar (from Aladdin) will be added with this DLC. It looks like a massive new adventure.
And then next year, well, take a look at this road map:
Wow right? A lot more free characters will be added to the game. It looks like Monsters Inc, Mulan, and the Princess and the Frog are on the way. Who could the vibrant villager in Spring 2024 be?
I decided to buy the game on the Nintendo Switch and I will get the DLC there. I will have my opinion on the Switch version soon. Are you looking forward to the future of Disney Dreamlight Valley?
