Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna -The Golden Country Review Part 5

And now we have arrived at the final part of my Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country review-in-progress. Check out parts 1, 2, 3, and 4. In this part, I’ll reach a conclusion on how good Torna is and give the game a score!

Torna – The Golden Country is just as good as the Xenoblade Chronicles 2, if not better in some places.

Yes, the game is shorter than Xenblade Chronicles 2 and there are not as many blades in Torna than the previous game, but the characters, the story, and the new battle system are just as good if not better than its predecessor.

In addition, I think aspects like the graphics and the community feature are things that are big improvements too.

That said, I do wish that there were not sections of the game where you have to raise your community level in order to progress in the game. I think the community feature would’ve been best left optional, something that would help you if want to do it.

As much as I love the community aspect of the game, at times, it does feel like the developers were padding the story a bit by forcing you to do sidequests.  Still, fans of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will love this game. And if you haven’t played Xenoblade 2, Torna is still worth checking out.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Torna – The Golden Country gets a 9.0 out of 10.

Thank you to Nintendo for providing a digital code for this review. Xenoblade Chronicles: Torna – The Golden Country is available on the Nintendo Switch eshop and in retail stores!
