Wolfenstein, Prey and Dishonored Games Rated for Xbox Series
Wolfenstein, Dishonored and Prey will be getting re-released collections for Xbox Series X and S according to new ratings by the ESRB.
Wolfenstein Alt History Collection and Dishonored & Prey: The Arkane Collection have both been rated M for mature by the ratings body.
The Wolfenstein set contains four games, although it isn’t specific as to which will be included. It’s most likely we’ll get The New Order, Old Blood, Wolfenstein II and Youngblood, all improved for the next-gen systems.
The rating reads: “This is a compilation of four first-person shooters in which players assume the role of a US army ranger leading rebel forces through an alternate historical reality involving Nazis. Players use pistols, shotguns, machine guns, and explosives to kill Nazi soldiers and armored mechanized troops in frenetic combat.”
Dishonored & Prey also has four games. Presumably, that’s the two main games, Death of the Outsider and the Prey reboot.
The rating says: “This is a compilation of four first-person shooters/role-playing games in which players engage in stealth, assassinations, melee, and ranged combat to complete various missions. Characters use knives, swords, crossbows, pistols, and explosives to kill mostly human enemies in frenetic combat. Fighting is highlighted by screams of pain, gunfire, blood-splatter effects, and explosions.”
Unsurprisingly, there is no mention of a PlayStation 5 version of either of these games. It’s unclear whether Microsoft will honour the announced next-gen version of Doom Eternal, which Bethesda announced earlier this year.
