Update on Project Ironside

We have been covering the wonderful work of Project Ironside, and look forward to reviewing their tables in the near future. A recent update from the companies head honcho, Dan, has us excited for even more and for what is possible in the future. Cloud Puncher Games is going to work with a leading furniture distributor via Amazon to deliver more tables, more shelves, and more accessories to people around the world. And they will do it faster and more efficiently than ever.

In an email to GamesReviews, Dan had this to say about the possibilities of working with one of Amazon’s leading furniture companies (edited for clarity):
“One of Amazon’s biggest furniture sellers owns a bunch of furniture companies underneath it, including Pop Maison. They have over a decade of furniture manufacturing and logistics experience, as well as retail and ecommerce prowess. With this partnership, we can essentially build any product and test it lightning fast – it means any whimsical idea we suddenly come up with can be made reality. It means we’ll be able to launch many more Kickstarters a year, and have one fully functioning site with thousands of gaming accessories – including playmats, display cases, furniture, dice, deluxe tokens, and more.”
What might be more impressive for this Canadian brand is the plans to rebrand for this new partnership, and no only expand their affordable gaming tables, but also innovate and iterate on a past product, the BoxThrone. Here is more from Dan,
“They’re also helping to develop the next iteration of BoxThrone, which will be mostly wood, and unlike anyone has ever seen in both the board game space and the furniture industry. Together we’re working on a few other gaming furniture products, including storage benches and chairs, portable tables and more! We will also be rebranding under a new name, BoxKing Gaming, to solidify this new partnership.”
GamesReviews hopes to work with Dan, Cloud Punchers Games, and the soon to be BoxKing Gaming on a number of review items in the coming years! We cannot wait to see what this company does next. This is a company for gamers, worried about your bottom line. They make a quality product at an affordable price. Having a good looking board game room is no longer for those with means. Anyone can have a slick looking space for game night thanks to Dan and his ideas and innovations!

blank Kevin Austin has been in gaming journalism in one way or another since the launch of the Nintendo Gamecube. Married and father of 3 children he has been gaming since the ripe age of 6 when he got his first NES system and over 30 years later he is still gaming almost daily. Kevin is also co-founder of the Play Some Video Games (PSVG) Podcast network which was founded over five years ago and is still going strong. Some of his favorite gaming series includes Fallout and Far Cry, he is a sucker for single player adventure games (hence his big reviews for Playstation), and can frequently be found getting down in one battle royale or another. If it's an oddball game, odds are he's all about it.
