Sid Meier’s Civilization VI – Episode 1: Starting a Game – Nintendo Switch (Video)

I have heard of Sid Meier’s Civilization but I’ve never played one of the games. I assumed it was a lot like Sim City. I was kind of right and kind of wrong. Here’s a video showing off Sid Meier’s Civilization VI for the Nintendo Switch! I have some thoughts on it after the video.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is like a combination of a turn-based strategy game with Sim City. The goal is to build up your Civilization better than your competitor, whether that be a real person or the game’s A.I.

I think the graphics in this game look a lot better than I expected. I love the cartoon look of it and how detailed the map are. And there looks to be a lot to do in this game, from making sure everyone has food to industry to just exploring the world and finding things.

I was interested in this game a little bit before but now I’m pretty excited for it. I love simulation games. I also love turn-based games. So a game that has both genres definitely has my attention!
