Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro Reveal

Today, Google unveiled the Google Pixel 6 and the Google Pixel 6 pro to the world, taking a bold new approach to their flagship phone and aligning it with other top-tier priced phones as opposed to aiming for that mid tier market. Whether they can penetrate the high-end market will have to be seen, but what they showed off is truly outstanding, and we cannot wait to try it out ourselves.

Google is still touting all the amazing features they had before – primarily the superior camera hardware and software – but have made some improvements to the device, and overall design changes like the bumped out camera. But shockingly, my most anticipated new feature on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro is the new battery, promising 24 hours of life, and up to 48 hours of life on battery saving mode. That is a huge improvement over past devices, and almost worth upgrading alone if you are a serious Pixel phone user.

Google is also unveiling new Android features that will be coming to GOogle Pixel 6 first, including new icons that will show if the phone is using your mic and camera, and so much more. This year, Google seems to be keen on protecting you, the end user!

Other upgrades are a brand new Google only chipset, improved security via the Titan 2 chip which comes with 5 years of updates, and a host of new camera features that we cannot wait to check out!
