Far Cry 6 Features – Yara’s Varied Encounters

If you played Far Cry 5, you know that while you got to experience different biomes, the entire world still felt fairly similar. You were in the backwoods of Montana and much of what you experience throughout the game felt very similar. Sure, you had more water over here, and some mountains over there, but at the end of the day, it was mostly untapped wilderness. The same can be said for many of the previous Far Cry experiences. Far Cry 6 takes a somewhat different approach, and provides more varied experiences.

When you first load up Far Cry 6, you’ll instantly feel two distinct game experiences within the first few hours. There is the first where you are running through the streets of a large city, evading police, crawling through sewers, and more. And then you’ll get the second game experience, which will have you trudging through jungles and across waterways, taking out the government forces from the shadows. You might wonder, what will you be getting the most of here?

After our time with the game, you get a decent balance of both. While you will spend lots of time trekking through the jungles of Yara, you still get to spend time in some of the nations cities. And not only will you be running through through the streets, but you will get to enjoy some of the verticality of larger skyscrapers and the like. For those that felt Far Cry 5 lacked variety in the areas you explored, outside of it being different natural backdrops, Far Cry 6 will provide a more varied experience. Get ready to save Yara, and don’t forget to pack a wide variety of clothes. You’ll need it!
