Animal Crossing Wild World and Kirby Canvas Curse Are Coming to the North American Wii U Eshop Tomorrow
I’m a huge Animal Crossing fan. I own all of the Animal Crossing games (amiibo festival and Happy Home Designer included). The series is, without a doubt, my favorite Nintendo franchise! Awhile back, Nintendo of Europe brought Animal Crossing Wild World to the Wii U Virtual Console. However, there was no sign at all that they were bringing it to North America. Thats changing tomorrow when Nintendo of America brings Animal Crossing Wild World to the Wii U eshop. They are also bringing Kirby Canvas Curse too. Its going to be a big day for DS fans!
Animal Crossing Wild World and Kirby Canvas Curse will come to the North American Wii U eshop tomorrow (October 13th). The two titles were originally released for the Nintendo DS systems. Both games should cost $9.99 each.
I was a huge fan of Animal Crossing Wild World! It is the first Animal Crossing to include local and online multiplayer, plus it introduced more accessories (hats!) to the series. The Wii U version of the game won’t have the local or online multiplayer, but for Animal Crossing fans, it is a big deal to have Wild World on the Wii U. It is very possible at this point that the Wii U will never see its own regular Animal Crossing game. So Wild World might be many players only chance to play an Animal Crossing on the system. And yes, I still own Wild World for the DS! However, I don’t want to go back and delete my old town (or just play it! Think of the weeds). I’m very excited for start a new town on my Wii U!
As for Kirby Canvas Curse, I’m less excited about that game. Canvas Curse was the first Kirby game to have you drawing a line to keep Kirby moving. I thought this was ok, but I’m guess I’m more of a “Kirby eats everything” traditionalist! I’m sure there will be some people who are excited for this game though. Its pretty cool that we are getting two DS games for the Wii U tomorrow.
So which of these games will you buy tomorrow? Will you get both? Let us know if you plan to pick these games up tomorrow. Bonus question: If you had Wild World for the DS, who was your favorite animal?
